{ePub} flinch & air by Laura Jane Lee EBOOK

£4.99

flinch & air is a unique exploration of Asian female identity. Reflecting on culture, politics, language and society in and beyond Hong Kong, this is a book of remembrance, courage, resilience and sacrifice. Touching on the current Hong Kong mass demonstrations, the 2019 Extradition Treaty, and the stories of her female elders, flinch & air positions Asian women at the centre of the page.

‘Reading these poems is like splashing cold water on your face when you’d forgotten what splashing cold water on your face felt like (we always forget). The poetry has an uncanny lightness and ease of movement. It is sharp, funny and deeply seeing. It woke me up. I can’t recommend it highly enough.’

— Mark Waldron

Format: ePub (suitable for non-Kindle ereader devices)

Also available in mobi and in print.
