Ins and Outs of Poetry with Zaffar Kunial — Saturday 25 February 2023, 1–4pm UK

In this workshop, I’ll share some of the ways I’ve written poems and we’ll do some exercises exploring place, inside and out. Among other things, we’ll look at how content and form can connect in poems and how we place words in the fullest sense.

Zaffar Kunial was born in Birmingham, and lives in Hebden Bridge. He published a pamphlet in the Faber New Poets series in 2014 and spent that year in Grasmere as the Wordsworth Trust Poet-in-Residence. His latest collection, England’s Green. (Faber, 2022), has met with wide acclaim, shortlisted for both the TS Eliot Prize and the Rathbones Folio Prize.
