JUDGES

SABRINA MAHFOUZ Sabrina Mahfouz is a Sky Academy Arts Scholar for poetry; an Associate Artist alumni at the Bush Theatre; Poet in Residence at Cape Farewell - a climate change and arts organisation; a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum and a Writer at Liberty for the civil rights charity, Liberty. Her first collection of plays and poems, The Clean Collection, was published by Bloomsbury.

NIALL O'SULLIVAN Niall O'Sullivan is a poet, educator and event host. He has published three collections of  poetry with Flipped Eye and has served residencies for the Wimbledon Championships, the South Kilburn Estate and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Niall currently hosts the Poetry Unplugged open mic at Covent Garden's Poetry Cafe and teaches a module in Poetry and Performance at London Metropolitan University.

JACOB SAM-LA ROSE Jacob Sam-La Rose is widely recognised as an indefatigable facilitator, mentor and supporter of young poets, and as an advocate for the positive impact of new technology on literary and artistic practice and collaboration. Widely published, he has been featured in a range of anthologies, including Out of Bounds: British Black and Asian Poets; and Michael Rosen’s A-Z: The Best Children’s Poetry from Agard to Zephaniah.

HELEN MORT Helen Mort was born in Sheffield. Her first collection 'Division Street' was shortlisted for the Costa Prize and the T.S. Eliot Prize and, in 2014, won the Fenton Aldeburgh Prize. She is the Douglas Caster Cultural Fellow at The University of Leeds.
